The AEM Showcase demonstrates the process of customers providing materials such as membranes, bipolar plates or catalysts, for testing and receiving an evaluation of their performance. To allow testing under actual operating conditions, the materials are incorporated into cells or stacks. Two pilot lines, located at CEA (France) and Tecnalia (Spain) are ready to receive these materials and, by using an automated production process, assemble them into catalyst-coated membranes (CCM). For the AEM Showcase Syensqo provided membranes and Umicore provided catalysts to the Pilot Lines. Enapter offers a wide array of analytical methods and runs tests such as crossover, polarization curves and durability. The results are sent to the customer to provide them with comprehensive feedback on the performance of their materials.
